C.S Lewis wrote a beautiful book about the four manifestations of love: - Storge (familial love) - Philia (friendship love) - Eros (romantic love) - Agape (Divine, Unconditional Love) When He approached «Eros», the romantic love, he carefully highlighted that - while being beautiful in its depth, «Eros» can be a total disaster as well (talking in extreme terms). For the simple reason that Eros alone, isn’t structured or leaded by a superior and holiest love, here «Agape» the Love of God. That’s the idea of the music, «Eros» being done, covered and protected by «Agape» and for «Agape». I’ve found this deeply helpful, however this small text does not make CS Lewis’s work any justice. If you friends want to discover his book, the chapter V and VI focus on this topic with a beautiful degree of brightness and grace. It’s called “The Four Love“. Love you all very much!
