“Blue Train“ EMU 303 043 departing Gourock Station July 2001

Introduced in the 1960s to replace steam on the Glasgow suburban and Clyde coast services, the “Blue Trains“ got their name from their original smart Caledonian Railway blue livery. A shabby 303 043 now in its final months of service leaves from an equally run down Gourock Station.
