FRACTAL ART - GHOST TREES - Embellishing Fluid Art with Inks & Pouring Medium Test 2 of fractals / Dirty Dendrites in pouring medium. This one behaved a little differently to a similar test i did on a normal paint pouring base. The dendrites spread much less and as you see in the video, i had some cracking. The cracking was in the areas where i added more ink - a second coat so to speak. This is still under investigation but my guess is that it cracked due to the ink thickness. The alcohol also pushes the medium away from the inks so the binders would have been lesser in those areas. Im diggin the effect the canvas tilting had on the trees - they have a ghostly, eerie feel, weeping and brittle. I could have worked on my composition more, but had more of an experimental mind at the time.
