Today, I drove the expressway to Ashikaga Flower Park, where the big wisteria are at their best. I walked from the west gate to the big wisteria three times: before dusk, at dusk, and when the lights were up. The light-up was nice. The entrance fee depends on the blooming condition of the flowers. Today’s admission fee for the evening session was 1,800 yen. The highest is 1900 yen, so I guess that means the best time to see the flowers is just a little bit before the best.
