Full title reads: “Mersey Tunnel. Breakdown Service“. Liverpool, Merseyside. A new fork lift breakdown truck is brought in to ease problems in the tunnel. GV The entrance to the Mersey Tunnel. LV Cars at the toll gate. CU Car driver paying toll. LV Cars and Lorries coming from the tunnel. GV Inside the tunnel cars come towards and past. GV ditto. As they go out of the tunnel. GV Crowd of VIPs looking at the new fork lift truck. CU The driver. Pan down to crest on cab door and “Mersey Tunnel Joint Committee“. GV As the truck drives up to the back of a lorry. SV As it starts to lift the back of the lorry. LV Ditto. GV Crowd watching. LV. Pan the truck brings the lorry up slope. CU Man watching. LV Inside the tunnel as the truck comes to pick up crashed car. It lifts the car on the fork and then drives towards and past camera carrying the car.
