One of my favorite live recordings of Rigoletto: 29 December 1945 Met broadcast - conducted by Cesare Sodero. Leonard Warren, Jussi Björling, and Bidu Sayao all in their vocal primes. The Duke’s entrance and aria from Act 1, his duet with the Countess, and Rigoletto’s entrance. More excerpts to come.
