小时候在德宏长大,那有成片的橡胶树林,秋季我会跟着傣族阿姨们去割胶,顺便捡些橡胶籽回来串手链。橡胶籽每一颗的花纹都是独一无二的,新鲜的橡胶籽有一定毒性,经过多次高温烘培后脱毒就可以提取橡胶籽油,油质特别轻薄透亮,吃起来油感很薄,有点介于水和油之间的状态。闻起来有点淡淡的谷物味。这次为了吃这个油,也特意做了几道小菜。你们吃过橡胶籽油吗?

I grew up in Dehong. There were lots of rubber trees there. In the autumn, I went to tap the rubber latex with Dai aunties. I also picked some rubber seeds to make bracelets. Each rubber seed has a distinct pattern. Fresh rubber seeds are somewhat poisonous. Heat the seeds over high heat several times to remove the poison. Now they can be used to extract rubber seed oil. The oil is very thin and crystal clear. The taste is very light, with a texture between water and oil. It has a slight grain smell. I also made some dishes with the oil.
