German guns vs French armor in 1940

German propaganda sequence from 1940 showing German guns in action and wrecked French tanks. 0:00 3.7 cm Pak 36 anti-tank gun 0:02 7.5 cm leichtes Infanteriegeschütz 18 infantry support gun with its interesting breech action in the foreground, 8.8 cm Flak 18 anti-aircraft gun in the background 0:17 our man throwing those shells into the breech of the ’88 with such force that it must be adding at least 100 meters per second to the muzzle velocity. Note that the shells have nose fuzes, implying that they are high explosive rounds and not the armor piercing type normally used for tanks, that would have had a base fuze. 0:19 Note the next shell being placed in the wonderfully named “zünderstellmaschine“ fuze setter. 0:35 Char B1 bis “TERRIBLE“ №259 in action with the 348e compagnie autonome de chars de combat was actually knocked out when it ran over a mine on June 4th 1940
