I can’t believe what this fossil hunter found!

We are fossil collecting along the Jurassic Coast today, to look for ammonites. We will be looking for the right little rocks at low tide. You can break the small ammonites out of the thin grey layered limestone rocks. I hope you enjoy the geology, palaeontology, fossil wood and more. Join me on my fossil walk I’m taking out. You will see a great find right at the end of the day the lady on my fossil walk makes. Some people have said to me there is nothing left on the beaches to find-where have all the fossils gone ? Well it’s been “fair weather “ fossil hunting recently, there hasn’t been any rough weather around. Now the real Wintery weather is arriving the mudslides will get activated by the rain. The big waves and rough seas will wash fossils out of the mudslides and onto the beaches at low tide! I’d like to find some of the beautiful little pyrite ammonites that wash out along the beach at low tide. Little nuggets of gold delight, saved from the shifting sands.
