This hopping, bopping blues is performed by Montreal saxophonist Al McLean. McLean is showing off a rare early Conn alto saxophone dating to 1913. The instrument was completely rebuilt by McLean, and is being played for the first time in over half a century. McLean is joined by some of Montreal’s finest players, Dave Watts on bass, Jan Jarczyk on piano, and Michel Berthiaume on drums.
