Firefighters tackle blazing tower block fire in London’s Whitechapel

FIREFIGHTERS evacuated residents from London tower block this afternoon after a huge blaze took hold. Smoke is billowing across the capital after the fire at Relay Building in Whitechapel High Street. Footage of the blaze seems to show shards of glass and other debris falling to the ground from the 23-storey block.
