Donald Trump is set to address a gathering of the Republican Party faithful at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). The former president is expected to make a speech at the grassroots event in Maryland - an annual staple in the GOP calendar - at around 6pm GMT (1pm EST). The speech comes amid Mr Trump’s ongoing financial woes, with his campaign having spent at least $11 million last month as his legal bills continue to mount. Elsewhere, voting has opened in the South Carolina’s Republican primary, where Mr Trump is projected to win by a double-digit margin over his last GOP rival, Nikki Haley.
