Formula 1 Car v Tesla Model S | DRAG RACE

What’s faster in a drag race… a Formula 1 car or a Tesla Model S P100D? Note: The Moose test was not to official spec, meaning the speeds are higher than official results. Tesla’s are known all over the internet for their incredible torque - and for beating tried and tested cars in drag races. But the ultimate test is against an F1 car. What better way to launch our new YouTube channel than to drag race a Tesla and a Formula One car? We run these two cars through four challenges: a standing quarter-mile, a rolling quarter-mile, 0-100-0mph acceleration and brake test and finally, our favourite, the Moose Test. The Tesla P100D has 500kW (671 hp) and 701 lb-ft of torque. It is all-wheel-drive and can accelerate to 62mph in seconds - reaching a top speed of 155 mph.
