How to convert Pixel Lab Cinema 4D Redshift textures to Unreal Engine materials
This is a short tutorial showcasing how to take The Pixel Lab Redshift mutating material collection from Cinema 4D into Unreal Engine.
This is not intended as a how to on using Cinema4D or UE, basic understanding of each software is assumed.
I take two of my fav materials, ’Charred Wood’ and ’Gold Leaf Fold’ as examples and show you how to set up the materials and textures inside Unreal Engine! Did you know Unreal Engine is free?! Never been a better time to jump in and start learning it. I built a lot of my fundamentals 3D skills inside Cinema4D using many of the Pixel Lab freebies, tutorials and products. This is 100% not a paid promotion, I just think the company is fantastic and wonderful resource for anyone doing anything 3D. Thanks for all your hard work Joren (and RenderKing)!!
Apologize in advance for the audio issues in a few sections, still learning how to record audio, and speak more clearly. Peanut butter mouth syndrome while a thing I am sure of it! ;)
