Fruit Garden CAL Hollyhock & First Edging

Here I am with the video for Part 5 of the Fruit Garden CAL. This is one of 6 videos I have created to accompany the crochet along project. This video assumes that you have already watched my others and does not cover some of the techniques already shown such as picots, but it does show you how to work the popcorn stitches (MP) on Round 2 and then how to work from Round 6 of the Hollyhock Motif . The video also shows how to work the 2 colour method of crochet, where yarns are carried across the back of the work between use. This is a technique you will need to use when making the First Edging. As usual I muddle up thin leaves and petals in my dialogue and this time I even manage to mix up my left and my right hand sides, so it is a good job I am not a driving instructor!!
