The Les Paul that isn’t. PART TWO continued.

In this Part Two, we continue discussing the vintage ABR1 and how no one is making them correctly. We demo unplugged before and after hardware changes to 50’s equivalent materials and parts. The ONLY goal here is to make your factory assembly line guitar sound much more like an original vintage Les Paul. Gibson’s stock hardware produces harsh treble without soul. Making these changes is not expensive and will make your guitar sing so much better with more sustain and rich acoustic tones, that translate into great amplified sound. In Part Three, we will listen to an unplugged 57 gold top vs the changes we made to this ’60 VOS mint Les Paul, then proceed to tear apart its harness. Before we do that we will listen to the guitar with stock hardware played thru an amplifier and then listen to it plugged in with the replace 50’s type materials hardware. Enjoy!
