Altar of Oblivion - The Night they Came - Single Edition

“The Night they came” is taken from a concept album called “In the Cesspit of Divine Decay” based on the diary of guitarist Martin Meyer Sparvath’s great-grandfather, who reluctantly fought for the German Empire in the trenches of WW1. This sonic endeavor was meant to be released in 2015, but due to line-up changes, it was decided to put it on ice and work on new material instead. The album will see the light of day in the course of 2022, if everything goes according to plan.
