By the way, you won’t be sold alcohol in stores usually after 10 or 11 PM, depending on the region. E. g., in Moscow, sellers can’t sell alcohol from 11 PM to 8 AM. But Russian bars sell spirit freely 24/7. 🎶 NOISE NUISANCE It may be not allowed to make loud noises late or at the weekend, the time depending on the region. In Moscow, noise in apartments is prohibited from 23 to 7 o’clock, and repairs are prohibited from 19 to 9 and on days off. These rules can also govern the noise nuisance on the street – check local laws to learn more about it. 💏 DISPLAYS OF AFFECTION Russians typically discourage displays of affection in public, although it’s not punishable by law. 🧕 HIJABS They’re not prohibited even in public institutions. However, a draft law banning the wearing of clothing that conceals the face has been submitted to the State Duma and is being considered now. 💃 REVEALING CLOTHES If we’re not talking about situations where it would look morally inappropriate, revealing garments are legal in Russia, except in some places where there’s a dress code and where you won’t be let in dressed like that (e. g., court or church). #Russia, #Law, #Lawyer, #Moscow, #StPetersburg, #TravelToRussia #RussianTraditions
