Christ the Redeemer lit up in the colours of World Cup finalists

(13 Jul 2014) Brazil’s famous Christ the Redeemer statue was illuminated on Saturday in the colours of World Cup finalists Argentina and Germany. The statue alternated between the light blue of the Argentina flag and the yellow, red and black of the German flag. Argentina and Germany will face each other in Rio de Janerio’s Maracana Stadium on Sunday.
