more DRUM DIY stuff!! (snares, tom & microphones)

HEY LONG TIME NO SEE! I’ve built more drum stuff and here’s a little video about them! The little wood pieces in the 8“ snare (you can see these briefly in the intro) were just an experiment, I tested if it made a difference in the sound when the screws and the shell had a contact, but it didn’t! But I couldn’t bother to take them out, as they made no difference! I accidentally forgot to include this info in the edit lol And here is the video about my older floating shell snare as promised: Like I say in the video, I used my DIY dynamic mics as microphones for the demo clips! Here’s a video if you wanna build one yourself! It’s easy and cheap yay! Oh yeah and all the synth sounds of the demo song come from the diy modular synth! I realised it might not be clear to everyone, cause a lot of the time I’m not even looking at the synth and just playing the controller on my lap hahah See ya!
