Kamala Harris lands in New York for fundraiser, First Lady motorcades to UN week

Vice President Kamala Harris lands in New York aboard Air Force 2 and heads into the city in a motorcade of security vehicles. She was attending a fundraiser. Additionally, First Lady Jill Biden arrived for the United Nations General Assembly. Featuring the US Coast Guard. The Vice President of the United States landed at LaGuardia Airport aboard a US Air Force Boeing C-32 with the call-sign ’Air Force 2’. She was then transported by the US Secret Service into New York City with an escort from the New York Police Department (NYPD), and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. She departed later that day back to Washington D.C. The First Lady of the United States also landed at LaGuardia. Travelling on a USAF Boeing C-40 with the call-sign ’Executive 1 Foxtrot’. She traveled in a smaller motorcade of Secret Service, NYPD and PAPD vehicles, and is in New York City for the United Nations General Assembly. Additionally, a US Coast Guard Casa HC-144A Ocean Sentry and HH-60 JayHawk also landed at the same airport. This may be linked to the security and logistical operation taking place for the UN week ahead, as Coast Guard Cutters are also in use around the United Nations HQ.
