Mount St. Helens Epic Weekender Bikepacking Trip || PNW Overnighter || REPEAT

Route Details: Coming off a busy and tiring week I didn’t make time for planning an unfamiliar I decided to do something ive done before... The Mount St Helens Epic Weekender. I have done this route a few times, once back in 2017 and again in 2019. Both times the route was time was no different, though, I think being mentally prepared for what is ahead is sometimes half the battle. I started Swift Creek Reservoir and would move clockwise... Heading up the Ape Canyon trail and across the Plains of Abraham. The route starts with a lot of climbing... and stunning view of Mount St. Helens. The Ape Canyon trail is mostly smooth. There are a few roots every now and then to trip you up, but its all ridable. There is a lot of traffic on this trail both hikers and mountain bikers so be cautious and don’t get too rowdy.
