ILYA ILYIN CLEAN AND JERK 242 KG RECORD 105 kg WWC

It was the 105 kg group A weightlifting championships. After Ilya missed 239 kg, he was put in the bronze position. He was primed to lose. For the first time, he was doubted. He had to beat the clean and jerk record by 4 kg to win, after both Ruslan Nurudinov and David Bedzhanyan beat it. He was in the bronze position. But he did it, in his very first international competition as a 105 kg lifter.
