We the Living - Trailer (Ayn Rand film)

“We the Living“ is the film classic based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Ayn Rand. The movie was produced in Italy during World War II, then banned and nearly lost forever. It stars Rossano Brazzi (“South Pacific“) and Alida Valli (“The Third Man“). The film was recently released on a special edition DVD which includes all the scenes that were deleted at Ayn Rand’s request and notes on why she wanted them removed. The bonus disc also has a 35 minute documentary that tells the story of the film’s rediscovery and restoration. A rare interview with “We the Living“’s producer is featured.
