Melanie & The Incredible String Band CHART SONG Live ’74 (remastered 2020)

My original tapes of this concert were remastered and released last year in vinyl and digital form. I loved the ISB and the feeling was mutual so Mike (Heron) and Robin (Williamson) became my friends and joined me for some of this show. I’d just written this song for my firstborn, Leilah, and the Chart is her natal chart~ I believed in astrology and past lives “and I never heard of anything that I didn’t half believe“. On piano was the great Ron Frangipane who left the planet recently (so this one’s for you, Ron). Artwork is by Sulamith Wulfing. This one song did appear on an album in ’74 but the sound quality wasn’t good and Mike and Robin had been mixed way back so I’m glad their part in this performance can be fully appreciated at last. (I hope my friend @Trippy Hippi3 might like to do a reaction to this one as he appreciates the Incredible String Band too.)
