There are few movies that have uplifted me as much as this one; it’s s fairly standard Japanese high-school movie, or at least in seems like that on the surface, but inside you can see the beating heart of seishun that fills the entire movie. It is shocking how quickly this rose up to be one of my favourite movies, and it’s the perfect antidote to a bad day. With this edit, I try to depict the general vibes of the movie, placing a little less importance on a slideshow of visually striking scenes, instead choosing to set the scene more. I wonder if it worked. I just knew that MasuDore would be a perfect fit for this edit, because they’re an all-female band (or at least they started out that way), and it seems like a thematic match. This track is one of my favourites from their discography, the repeating riff is super addicting. I would recommend Linda Linda Linda to basically anyone, it’s a super chill movie with tons of charm in it, and you just know that everything in the movie
