I won’t forget him~Ben/Rook AU

Story: On Rook’s first day assigned to Earth, he recalls why he wanted to become a Plumber in the first place. When Rook was little (Young One = Rook) he was messing around with a ship and ended up blasting off into space and crash-landing on Earth, almost frying a nearby human (guess who!). Luckily the human forgave him, and promised to help Rook get home, which he does with the help of some sort of portal gun. Rook’s happy to get home but sad to leave his new friend, especially when he family thinks he’s just making up stories to get out of helping with the harvest. Rook never forgets though, and becomes a Plumber, hoping to be assigned to Earth. When he does, his new partner looks familiar somehow... Yeah, the story made more sense in my head and Rook keeps switching costumes for no reason, but there weren’t a lot of clips to work with.
