Depeche Mode - The Maxi Singles 81 - 85.

Depeche Mode and Daniel Miller missed a trick when they released the first collection of DM singles (The Singles 81 – 85). When I bought the first three box sets of singles in 1992, I immediately made my own compilation of maxi singles (as they were called back then). I was delighted to find they all fitted perfectly on a 90-minute cassette (most tapes had an extra 60 – 90 seconds on each side). I wore out that tape, because I listened to it on my Walkman almost every day (I had a Discman, but I used that for albums and not singles). Of course, I had to wait more than a decade for the next three box sets to be released. I filled up another 90-minute tape with maxi singles, from 1986 to (I think) 1993 or 1994. I will be making another video with juicy remixes from Black Celebration, Music For The Masses, Violator and Songs Of Faith And Devotion. As you may or may not know, there were usually a few different remixes for each single; starting in 1986. I won’t put all of them in the video. I will choose (what I consider to be) the very best remixes. Look out for that one by the middle of the week. Music: Titles in the video.
