A woodturners nightmare. Momentary lapse of concentration and using the wrong tool for the job. Thankfully the Face Shield performed its function and prevented any injury. Last line of defence is the safety equipment, safety glasses would not have been good enough in this event. Always wear a face shield when woodturning is good advice.
