Animate for free with OpenToonz 1.5 - Full walkthrough - NEW for 2021

I’ve re-uploaded this, with quieter music, here: In this video I show a full walkthrough using OpenToonz 1.5 to create a bouncing ball animation; explaining projects/scenes, the 3 drawing level types, sketching, ink & paint. And then finally rendering. OpenToonz is a complex program and I could have shown more details and options as there are lots that are useful, but I wanted to cover the most important and most-often used features that I think you’ll find useful, sharing lots of tips along the way. I’d recommend watching the whole video as you’re bound to learn something. But to help you to come back later to find the part you’re interested in, here’s a details contents list: Contents: 00:00 Animating for free 01:02 Creating your first project & scene. & setting auto-save 03:31 A look over the OpenToonz interface 05:13 A look at drawing levels 06:14 Create a Raster drawing level 07:26 Painting on the Raster drawing level 08:53 Use Ctrl S to Save All - And save regularly! 10:
