Child King “Tutankhamun”

Tutankhamun, often referred to as “King Tut,“ was a pharaoh of Egypt’s 18th Dynasty, reigning from 1332 to 1323 BCE. He ascended to the throne at a very young age, possibly around 8 or 9 years old, and died at the age of 18. His reign was marked by political and religious upheaval. He reversed the monotheistic Aten religion initiated by his father, Akhenaten, and restored the traditional polytheistic Egyptian religion. In 1922, his tomb was discovered by British archaeologist Howard Carter, almost intact, and the treasures it contained sparked worldwide fascination. This discovery made Tutankhamun an iconic figure in modern popular culture and heightened interest in Egyptian history. #youtubeshorts #shorts #history #egypt #tutankhamun #king #kingtut
