Without a doubt this will ALWAYS be easier said than done. Having said that, the ones that DO will ALWAYS keep doing and subsequently moving forward.
Fresh off a Jr. USA win in 2018 Hunter Labrada finally bit the bullet and went to the Dr. to diagnose what the issue was with his shoulder and biceps tendon. Training had become excruciating. Traditional chest and arm workouts were out the window and hence building new tissue that is necessary for preparing for a legit run at professional status at the 2018 NPC Nationals looked bleak. After 2 “no go“ diagnosis from physicians Hunter finally got a dr to confirm that he could carefully prepare for Nationals but will require surgery after.
“I am trying to say this and not be a douche bag about it. I had to win Nationals with one hand tied behind my back.“ Hunter’s bicep tendon was hanging on by a thread.
Fast foreward to 2019 and post shoulder surgery and rehab Hunter is able to actually train and progress as is customar
