SPIRITUAL LIGHT ON MODERN PROBLEMS

In this talk Dr Thomas Daffern shares with friends some teachings of the Celtic Druid God Taranis, who was the King of the Gods of Gaul and equated by the Romans to Jupiter. He also talks about Ploutos, the ancient Greek God of Wealth and riches, who was associated with the Mysteries of Eleusis. What is the relationship between true wealth and the Mysteries? Thomas gives some possible explanations using a variety of sourses. Then he talks about the growing movement towards Scottish independence and which had a huge march in Glasgow recently. He also talks about the sacred wealth of nature and the fight against extreme climate change and global warming going on in Glasgow at COP 26. Then he laments the ongoing Tory party rule by sleeze, corruption and totalitarian plutocracy but explains that the Owen Patterson fiasco allows us a tiny glimpse behind the curtain of this particular Wizard of Oz. Then he talks about the work of Liberal Democrats Abroad and the Social Democrats he is involved with . He mentions a
