This was a special hometown charity concert to raise funds for the Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Alliance, with the proceeds going to United Nations Human Rights climate justice initiatives and a dedicated Right Here, Right Now climate fund. Green Day is a Grammy Award winning rock band from Berkeley, California consisting of Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar / lead vocals), Mike Dirnt (bass), and Tré Cool (drums).
