Brief synopsis: Shahryar, King of India and China, is angry because his brother Shakhezman has suggested that his wives are unfaithful to him. It turns out to be true, when they return unexpectedly from a hunting trip. All are killed, including the Golden Slave. Zobeide remains, but she takes her own life rather than live with dishonor.
