JetLAG 2023: BORIS GREBENSHIKOV / BG+

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our highly anticipated guest, Boris Grebenshikov, a revered poet, singer, composer, musician, band leader, and educator - a true legend of Russian rock! Once his iconic band “Aquarium“ ceased live shows in the year of its 50th anniversary because of the war, an acoustic lineup BG emerged, featuring, alongside Boris Grebenshikov himself, Alexander Titov on bass, Konstantin Tumanov on keyboards, Brian Finnegan on flute, Liam Bradley on drums, and Gleb Grebenshikov on percussion. Their first show took place in March 2022 at the renowned Troubadour club in London, where English folk was born in the ’50s, and where Bob Dylan and Paul Simon, yet unknown, played in the early ’60s, followed by Jimi Hendrix a bit later. In May 2022, BG started a world tour with each show being another anti-war statement. The program will feature beloved “Aquarium“ classics alongside brand-new compositions by Boris Grebenshchikov, promising many surprises. Welcome to the BG concert! Welcome to Escapology!!
