ANGRY Russian women are stepping up protests against Vladimir Putin’s war - demanding he returns forcibly mobilised men, and revealing how refusenik soldiers are forced to strip naked and pay huge bribes to commanders to be released. A rare protest on Saturday (18 November) taunted police for failing to rise up against the freeing and pardoning of mass murderers and rapists who have served six months at the front - while regular conscripts are forced to stay in their trenches until the end of the war.
