36 New Stadiums Opened in 2022

The start of a new year is, as usual for the StadiumDB editorial team, a time to summarise what happened on the stadium map of the world in the previous year. We do this because we want to help you make the best choice in the impending Stadium of the Year competition. This time our list includes as many as 36 venues from all continents.. Check out the impressive stadiums of the USA, where the infrastructure of the MLS is getting more and more astonishing. We will also visit two Southern American countries, Brazil and Paraguay. Europe hasn’t disappointed stadium-wise as well, but it is Africa, where a stadium revolution is currently ongoing. The same goes for the Middle East. Than we will move to far Asia to visit China and Indonesia, ending our showcase in Australia.
