M1A2 SEP Abrams - Laser Warning System & Rapid Obscuring System Test

During AEWE 2018 at Fort Benning, GA, Soldiers conducted a Live Fire Assessment of the Laser Warning System for Ground Combat Vehicles (UTC Aerospace Sytem) and Rapid Obscuring System (American Rheinmetall). Findings from this assessment will inform the Vehicle Protection Suite key system attributes of the U.S. Army’s Next Generation Combat Vehicle initiative.
