“The Future of Radio“: A keynote lecture with Alan Cross

On Thursday, February 25, 2016, Alan Cross -- Allan Slaight Broadcaster in Residence at the RTA School of Media at Ryerson University -- gave a keynote lecture about the future of radio. Alan Cross is an award-winning internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, biographer, voiceover artist, consultant, blogger and keynote speaker. In his 30 years in the music business, Alan has interviewed the biggest names in rock and is a respected also known as a musicologist and documentarian. He’s written four books, writes a national newspaper column in Canada and co-hosts a weekly podcast called Geeks & Beats. His most famous radio creation is the documentary The Ongoing History of New Music which has been running in Canada since 1993.
