Kara’s Couture Cakes - Sugar Rose Video Tutorial

This tutorial will take you from setup through drying a full blossom sugar paste (gum paste) rose. There will be a second video to follow to show the finishing process including: applying a calyx, dusting, steaming, and adding sugar rose leaves. I make my own sugar paste. Most of the tools I use can be found at and at your local housewares store. My sugar glue is made with 1/8 cup filtered water and 1/2 teaspoon Tylose Powder.
