Cottage pie (Shepherd’s)

Cottage pie (Shepherd’s) Follow me :) Ingredients Meat Filling 1 onion 3 garlic cloves 2 carrots 2 celery stalks 1 1/2 lb ground beef 1/2 cup Guinness 2 tbsp flour 2 tbsp tomato paste 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1 cup beef broth 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp fresh rosemary 1 tsp fresh thyme 1 cup frozen peas Mashed Potatoes 2 pounds potatoes 1/4 cup milk 1/4 cup butter 3/4 cup cheddar cheese 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp pepper Prepare meat filing. Add onion and saute for 5 minutes. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute more. Add the diced carrots and diced celery and cook for a few minutes until slightly softened. Add ground meat and cook for 10-12 minutes. Stir in Guiness, add flour and stir to coat, cooking for 1 minute more. Add tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper. Simmer for few more minutes, until liquid is reduced and vegetables are tender. Stir in peas and then remove from heat. Prepare the mashed potatoes. Mash the potatoes with butter. Add milk and mix to combine. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Add cheddar cheese and mix to combine. Assemble pie and bake 30 minutes at 400F. Then Let it rest for 10 minutes. #pie #shorts #meatpie #shepherdspie #fyp
