Robert Smith of the Cure on “This Old House“

This skit is from Mtv’s Half Hour Comedy Hour, a stand-up comedy and sketch show that Mtv used to have around 1990. At first I suspected that the actor playing Robert Smith may have been Mtv VJ Kevin Seal, but I’ve been told that it’s actually Bruce Leddy (complete with his real hair), the writer and director of Half Hour Comedy Hour at the time, with the builder having been played by writer Vern Mackall.
