Learn How To Say the Simple Verb “Learn“ in Chinese

In Chinese, the word “learn“ is pronounced 学 and the pinyin is [Xué], meaning to learn something new through the gain of knowledge. But the verb 学 [Xué] by itself doesn’t really capture the meaning of learning through practicing and therefore, we sometime use the verb phrase(two-word verbs) 学习 [xué xí] to replace the verb学 [Xué].
