Originally from Armenia and now based in Los Angeles, Ruben Karapetyan has established a distinctive presence in the electronic underground scene. After a remarkable ten-year hiatus, Ruben returned to electronic music in 2020, releasing a series of tracks via renowned labels such as Mango Alley, The Soundgarden, Clubsonica, MNL, and Univack. His fresh and progressive sound quickly caught the attention of influential figures in the genre, including Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, who praised his work. To further elevate the Amberd EP, Madloch invited talented artists DJ Ruby, Kebin van Reeken, and NOIYSE Project to provide their exceptional remixes, adding their distinct flavors to the already impressive release.
