Kandahar - In the court of Catherina Squeezer 1975 Belgium ,Jazz-Rock, Prog Rock The group was formed in 1973 in the city of Ghent, the capital of East Flanders. The founders are Karel Bogard and Jeff De Visscher. The first two albums were released on a small private label “Dwarf“. Musicians play a fusion of jazz-rock with canterbury and a slight progression effect. The group had a certain fame in the home country, but outside it was virtually unknown. During his heyday due to lack of finance leader Karel Bogard released several solo works. In 1979, the band broke up, and in the late 80’s reformed to record the album “Ghent, Somewhere In Europe“ (1991). The albums of 1974 and 1975 were reissued on CD by the label “Sony Music“ in 2009. A solid prog-jazz-rock album with strong, often dominating tudok. Basically it is copper, but the flute occasionally sounds. Tracks:
