The Masters of Vocation in Dialysis Technology ( DT) programme at Shri Ram Medical College is a two-year degree programme that prepares students to become skilled dialysis technicians who work as part of hospitals’ paramedical support systems and provide specialized care to patients with renal failure. Both acute and chronic renal failure have afflicted humans ever since our earliest days. If left untreated, either condition can be fatal within weeks or years. Thomas Graham, known as the “Father of Dialysis,“ was a medical innovator who used osmosis and dialysis procedures to transform the healthcare system in the nineteenth century. Students can get the training they need to succeed in the dialysis technician profession through the DT programme. Training in kidney dialysis machines, dialyzer reprocessing and delivery systems, and equipment upkeep will be provided. In order to fulfil the duties of a dialysis technician, students in this programme will get the appropriat
