“Charcuterie“ is a branch of cuisine dealing with the art of serving ready-made meats, such as ham, sausage, bacon or other pork products. The word comes from French and can be translated as “butcher shop“. While the original French translation refers to pork, modern charcuterie boards also include other types of food such as pâté, cheese, crackers, fruit, nuts, and dips.
So we can definitely say that “Charcuterie“ is the art of preparing snack boards.
A cold cuts and cheese board is a must-have item at every party. Its preparation is not complicated and does not require spending a lot of time in the kitchen. This is a universal recipe for an appetizer - it will work on any occasion, not only on holidays.
During meetings with friends or during parties, there must be snacks that guests reach for. Our proven patent for years is a simple board with cold cuts, cheese and additives. Thanks to the variety of delicacies on such a board, every guest will easily find something for themselves. The key to creating such an appetizer is variety: go for different types of meat and cheese, adding fruit, nuts and salty snacks. Such a board can be prepared in both meat and vegetarian versions.
A properly prepared board will not only be a tasty snack, but also a table decoration.

For the mini boards I used:
– sliced salami
– mini salamis
– smoked round cheese
– cheese
– crispbread
– Tortilla
– Red pepper
– arugula
– strawberries
– blueberries
– grapes
– cream cheese with herbs
– Green cucumber
Spread the cheese with herbs on the tortilla, arrange the red pepper sticks and arugula alternately, roll up like a roulade, cut into 1 cm strips.
Cut the cucumber into thick pieces, hollow out the middle. Cut the smoked cheese in half, arrange the cheese flakes in the cucumber like a rose.
Create roses with salami - put them on a glass or a glass, bending the slices in half at the edge of the dish. Then turn the glass over and the rose is ready.
Yellow cheese cut into cubes.
Rinse the fruit, pat dry. Start arranging on the board, one rose with salami, cheese rose, mini salami, tortilla rolls, blueberries, sliced strawberries, crispbread, cheese cubes.
