The Mount Aso Supervolcano’s Alert Level Was Raised; Eruption Possible

In southern Japan the Mount Aso supervolcano just had its alert level raised from white to yellow. This change was made in response to a change in the nature of volcanic tremor underneath its most active vent known as Naka-dake. A new explosive eruption could theoretically occur in the short term future, but is far from certain. This video will discuss the ongoing situation, and mention what might happen next.
