Somebody LOCKED UP Our Kaido Racers!?
A few weekends ago, a group of us kaido racer enthusiasts banded together to make the most of one of the last sunny weekends of the year. With the crisp fall air and sun in the sky, it was the perfect time to hit the road and drive out to Harrison Hot Springs for a memorable trip.
We set out on the scenic route towards Harrison, a convoy of distinctively modified machines with their widened fenders, extended exhausts, and bold liveries, the cars turned heads at every stop along the way.
The drive was an experience that reminded me of the beauty of where we live—winding roads through lush forests, occasional glimpses of mountain vistas, and that unmatchable sense of freedom that comes with cruising in a car built to express individual creativity.
After a few hours, we finally arrived at Harrison Hot Springs, eager to hang out and soak in the serene atmosphere by the lake. We found a large open lot where we could park our cars, confident our rides would be safe as we explored the area. However, an unexpected twist was waiting for us. As we were getting ready to unwind, someone attempted to lock up the lot, trying to block our cars from leaving without authorization.
It seemed like a potential hassle at first, but we were more than prepared. Luckily, a few of us had the tools and know-how to work around the situation. With a little ingenuity, we were able to “free up“ our vehicles from the lot, ensuring our day wasn’t ruined by the impromptu lockdown.
Once that minor roadblock was behind us, we continued with our plans. The rest of the day was spent relaxing by the water, indulging in some great food, and, of course, sharing more stories about our cars. It was a reminder of why we love this community—not just for the cars, but for the teamwork, the resilience, and the shared passion that brings us together.
As the sun set on Harrison Hot Springs, we made our way back home, our cars gliding smoothly along the highway as the temperature dropped. It was a perfect way to say goodbye to the warm weather, and we left with memories that will last long into the colder months ahead.
Here’s to more drives, more adventures, and overcoming whatever bumps in the road we may face—both literally and figuratively.
